Jungian Archetypes

A friend told me about Jungian archetypes.

A brief description of the 12 types is here and here.

  • https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jungian_archetypes: Quotes:

  • As we mature the archetypal plan unfolds through a programmed sequence which Jung called the stages of life. Each stage of life is mediated through a new set of archetypal imperatives which seek fulfillment in action. These may include being parented, initiation, courtship, marriage and preparation for death.
More and more I find that there is something called destiny and that we have much less of freewill, that nature has a much stronger hold on us than nurture.

The Hermit archetype seems very interesting. Read the 10 questions in this linkThis is another link about Sage/Hermit.

    One on Boyhood archetype.
