Save Battery In Phones

I got this in a mail today.

SAVE BATTERY LIFE OF YOUR SMART PHONE
Even in 2015, it's tough to go much longer than 24 hours without charging your smartphone. Better battery technology simply hasn't arrived yet, which means it's down to software and settings to eke out the limited power for as long as possible.

In fact, these types of batteries suffer from low voltage problems, so it's actually better to partially charge them (say, from 20 percent to 90 percent) than to fully charge and fully drain them.

Few suggestions to extend your smart phone battery life.

1. Black wallpaper can save battery
2. Use dark themes and settings
3. Don't use adaptive/auto brightness
4. A shorter screen timeout setting saves battery
5. Your phone doesn't have to be smart all the time
6. Turn off vibrate and haptic feedback to save battery
7. Use lock screen notifications
8. Only use original batteries
9. Set your 'Do Not Disturb' or 'sleep' schedule
10. You don't need to be connected 24/7
11. Don't get bogged down by widgets
12. Don't let your apps fall behind the times
13. Explore the battery saving features on your phone
14. Use your basic battery saving mode
15. Don't fall into the auto-sync trap
16. Manually update apps when it's convenient for you
17. Turn off Google hotwords
18. Don't be so mobile obsessed
