Accession Of Kashmir To Pakistan

I read this news site from Pakistan - it's fairly unbiased. For the first time today I read this news item regarding Pakistan's "craven approach" towards the Kashmir issue.

Article 257 states that when the people of the state of Jammu and Kashmir decide to accede to Pakistan, the relationship between Pakistan and that state will be determined in accordance with the wishes of the people of that state. This language implies that any settlement other than one which provides for the accession of Kashmir to Pakistan would be unconstitutional.

What surprised me very much was this part that was quoted in the article from Pakistan's constitution. Interesting.
