What Is My Real Bandwidth

Why is my bandwidth slower than rated speed: http://testmy.net/ipb/topic/28902-why-do-my-results-differ-from-speedtestnet-ookla-speed-tests/ A quote from this page:

"Multithreading can show that you're able to max out your connection by combining the speed of concurrent connections but a great connection can max out without having to multithread."

Speedtest and bandwidthplace also give report your speed and give quite different speeds. For me a way to measure bandwidth is to take an X Megabyte file and clock the time T it takes to upload or download to Google drive. Then the speed is calculated as:

Speed in MBPS = X * 8(multiply by 8 to convert Megabytes to Megabits)/T

Pretty simple.
