Khalid Masood And Bombing In London
Apparently the guy was born on Christmas Day, 1964. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/khalid-masood-london-terror-attack-family-man-turn-terrorist-teacher-father-mi5-a7647121.html
Strong Mars in fiery signs in Rasi and Navamsa, Venus in Vargottama in Scorpio. And Saturn strong in Aquarius.
Turns out to be a terrorist and killed at the age of 52..Sad.

― P.G. Wodehouse, Uneasy Money
"There are moments, Jeeves, when one asks oneself, 'Do trousers matter?'"
"The mood will pass, sir."
― P.G. Wodehouse, The Code of the Woosters
"He had the look of one who had drunk the cup of life and found a dead beetle at the bottom."
― P.G. Wodehouse
"I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled."
― P.G. Wodehouse, The Code of the Woosters
"She looked as if she had been poured into her clothes and had forgotten to say "when". "
― P.G. Wodehouse
"I always advise people never to give advice."
― P.G. Wodehouse
"A melancholy-looking man, he had the appearance of one who has searched for the leak in life's gas-pipe with a lighted candle."
― P.G. Wodehouse, The Man Upstairs and Other Stories
"There is only one cure for grey hair. It was invented by a Frenchman. It is called the guillotine."
Vintage PGW !!
One more :
It was a confusion of ideas between him and one of the lions he was hunting in Kenya that had caused A. B. Spottsworth to make the obituary column. He thought the lion was dead, and the lion thought it wasn't.
Ring for Jeeves (1953)
"And she has got brains enough for two, which is exact quantity the girl who marries you will need".😂
Here's another
"When I see lovers' names carved on trees, I don't think it's sweet. I only wonder how many people bring a knife on a date "
The one on maturity in males and females... and the one on brains enough for two get me cracking every time.

Punjabi Farming In Tamil Nadu
Interesting. and nice...
Interesting to see Punjabis farming in a remote place in Tamil Nadu. Nice to see them farm in a dry land considered to be useless.

Difference Between Productive And Destructive
A friend sent me this video showing the difference between productive and destructive people. Is it so black and white as Jim And John (in Atlas Shrugged)
Get A Sharper Nose Without Surgery
Now it is easy. As per this article, people from the higher latitudes have narrower and sharper nose than those near the equator.
If your nose isn't as sharp as it might be then claim your ancestor were Vikings. (and hence your nose ought to have been sharp.. And if it ought to have been but in reality isn't, the "ought to" overrides)

Six Biases That Prevent Us From Preparing For Disasters
Apparently these are the 6 factors:
- Myopia (looking at short term cost than overall benefit)
- Amnesia
- Opimism
- Inertia
- Simplification (considering only certain factors and not all)
- Herding
Indian Men Are Cheapskates
Apparently they don't want to spend much on weddings, not as much as women anyway. https://qz.com/932526/big-on-bling-but-budget-honeymoons-how-indian-men-and-women-spend-on-weddings/
Prregnant Deer Story - Management
A friend sent me this.
I have read other versions of it, It reminded me of another story that I first heard 30 years back.. Many people laid claims to the authorship of the piece. I don't know who really wrote the original piece. Some Indian definitely. https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/pregnant-deer-beautiful-management-story-n-rohith-simha
Sometimes it doesn't matter who penned something. The substance of what was said is more important. So said the Tamil Bard Tiruvalluvar
Epporul yaaryaarvai ketpinum apporul
meiporul kaanba dharivu.

Women Rather Cagey About Revealing Age
Of course the smarter among us would round off the year of birth 1986 to 1992. We women follow a different rounding off system and hence others consider us to be mathematically challenged.

Dopamine, Oxytocin And What Not
http://www.livemint.com/Science/Bstf8rekb7Dn16yCPCf3mM/Work-on-brains-reward-system-wins-scientists-a-million-euro.html - As per the article, Dopamine makes our brain want to go after rewards..
And what is reward for you may be different from what it is for me. I wonder what the rewards are for sanyasis.
And I am fairly sure Mars, Venus and Saturn play a major part in determining what we go after in life. Does Jupiter play a part? I wonder.
Are Women More Ethical Than Men

Only yesterday I was irritated hearing another article / cliche about women being great mothers, wives etc, it being Women\s Day. But there is nothing cliched about this article.
Which Wolf Wins?
Whichever we feed..

ATM Service Center RBI
Today I got a call from 9122530512. A softspoken voice told me in English that my ATM card was blocked.. The person said he was from ATM service center RBI. He asked for my ATM card number.
I asked him what my card number was. He said he wasn't sure. I asked him whether I could report him to the police. And in the same soft voice he switched to profane language in Hindi.
Seems like the phone is registered to Uninor or Airtel from Bihar or Jharkhand.
Please do not reveal your ATM card number or PAN card number etc to unauthorized parties.
